Sol Crumb was born from the simple joy of feeding our people here in Connecticut — family, neighbors, and anyone who loves a good loaf. Each bake starts with an active sourdough culture, plenty of time, and a little sunlit patience.

This isn’t supermarket bread. It’s the kind you plan a slow morning around — crackling crust, tender crumb, and flavors that come from real ingredients, seasonal inspiration, and no shortcuts.

Micro-bakery = tiny batches and lots of care. Here’s how to get fresh bread on your table here in Connecticut:

Send your preorder request

Use the form below to tell me what you’re craving and your ideal pickup date. I’ll confirm availability and details by email, and a small non-refundable deposit will be required to hold your spot in the bake schedule.

Step 2

Dough days & bake day

Your loaf is mixed, stretched, folded, and slow-fermented. No shortcuts — just time and technique doing their thing.

Step 3

Pickup, slice, repeat

Swing by at your confirmed time, take your loaf home, and enjoy that first crackling, still-warm slice. Free house aromatherapy included.
Pickup days are Friday & Saturday only.

Sol Crumb is a pickup-only micro-bakery. I recommend ordering if you’re within about a 45-minute drive of Middletown, CT so your loaf gets home as fresh and cozy as it leaves the oven.
